Αποκτήστε δωρεάν την αναβάθμιση Windows 10 το 2020

Το περασμένο έτος, περισσότεροι από 800 εκατομμύρια χρήστες, εγκατέστησαν τα Windows 10 στους υπολογιστές τους. Ωστόσο η φιλοδοξία της Microsoft να φέρει το συγκεκριμένο λειτουργικό σύστημα σε 1 δισεκατομμύριο χρήστες μέχρι το 2020, δεν επετεύχθη. Αυτός είναι και ο βασικός λόγος που η εταιρεία προσέφερε μία δωρεάν αναβάθμιση στους χρήστες Windows 7 και 8, η οποία υποτίθεται πως θα έληγε τον Ιούλιο του 2016.

Κάτι τέτοιο ωστόσο δεν ισχύει, αφού υπάρχουν τρόποι να λάβετε το νέο λειτουργικό σύστημα, μέχρι και σήμερα. Η Microsoft έχει επεκτείνει την προσφορά για χρήστες βοηθητικών τεχνολογιών, όμως ο καθένας θα μπορούσε απλώς να ισχυριστεί ότι χρησιμοποιεί τέτοιου είδους τεχνολογία για να λάβει την δωρεάν αναβάθμιση.

 Στην πραγματικότητα φαίνεται ότι πάντα υπάρχει ένα «παραθυράκι» που επιτρέπει την δωρεάν αναβάθμιση και ίσως η ίδια η εταιρεία να το επιτρέπει αυτό, ανεπίσημα φυσικά. Πώς θα αποκτήσετε τη δωρεάν αναβάθμιση των Windows 10; 

Ακολουθήστε τα παρακάτω βήματα, για να εγκαταστήσετε δωρεάν την αναβάθμιση: Μεταβείτε στην ιστοσελίδα της Microsoft και κάντε λήψη του Media Creation Tool.

Εκτελέστε το εργαλείο και ακολουθήστε τα βήματα, αναλόγως με το αν θέλετε να αναβαθμίσετε τον υπολογιστή σας ή να δημιουργήσετε μέσα εγκατάστασης για άλλο μηχάνημα. Εγκαταστήστε τα Windows 10 στον υπολογιστή σας και βεβαιωθείτε ότι είναι συνδεδεμένο στο διαδίκτυο.

Εάν ο υπολογιστής σας διαθέτει συμβατό hardware, τότε το εργαλείο θα εγκαταστήσει την πιο πρόσφατη έκδοση, η οποία είναι το Windows 10 1909.

Αφού ολοκληρώσετε τη διαδικασία, μπορείτε να μεταβείτε στις Ρυθμίσεις> Ενημέρωση & Ασφάλεια> Ενεργοποίηση, όπου θα βρείτε την επιβεβαίωση ενεργοποίησης που λέει: “Τα Windows 10 ενεργοποιούνται με μια ψηφιακή άδεια που συνδέεται με τον λογαριασμό σας στη Microsoft”.

 Είναι σημαντικό να σημειωθεί ότι η άδεια χρήσης των Windows 10 για ψηφιακές συσκευές είναι συνδεδεμένη με το hardware του μηχανήματός σας. Έτσι, αν έχετε κάνει σημαντικές αλλαγές στο hardware σας, η διαδικασία ενεργοποίησης ενδέχεται να προκαλέσει κάποια σφάλματα.

 Η αναβάθμιση συνίσταται ιδιαίτερα για χρήστες των Windows 7, αφού η Microsoft θα σταματήσει και επίσημα την κυκλοφορία του OS στις 14 Ιανουαρίου 2020. Η Microsoft σταμάτησε να δημιουργεί νέα χαρακτηριστικά για τα Windows 7 πριν από 7 χρόνια και τώρα θα σταματήσει και τις ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας. Επομένως, οι χρήστες θα πρέπει να αναβαθμίσουν τα συστήματά τους εγκαίρως. Φυσικά, ένας ακόμα λόγος για να λάβετε την δωρεάν αναβάθμιση των Windows 10 είναι να έχετε πρόσβαση σε όλες τις νέες δυνατότητες, όπως τα Timeline, Action Center, εφαρμογές UWP κ.λπ. Αν η προσφορά πάψει να ισχύει θα πρέπει να πληρώσετε περίπου 140 δολάρια για να λάβετε την αναβάθμιση.

This is the support topic for the Locker Ransomware.
The Locker ransomware has a very large install base that has affected
many people globally. As this topic is already quite large, and will
likely grow larger, this first post will be used to post any new
information as it becomes available.

Summary

The
Locker ransomware is a computer infection that silently runs on a
victim's computer until May 25 Midnight local time at which point it
became active. Once active, it will begin to encrypt the data files on
the computer with what appears to be RSA encryption. When encrypting the
data files it will not change the extension of the
file. Therefore, the only way to determine if the file is encrypted is
by trying to open it and being told that the file is corrupt or not
usable.

After the Locker ransomware encrypts your data it will
delete your shadow volume copies and then display the Locker interface.
This interface will be titled Locker and then a random version number.
This version number does not appear to have any significance. Some
example titles are Locker v1.7, Locker v3.5.3, Locker V2.16, and Locker
V5.52. This Locker screen will give you information on how to pay the
ransom, your unique bitcoin address to send the ransom to, a list of
encrypted files, and a page to check the status of your payment. More.....

it would activate and encrypt your data files. Once your files were

looking into an area that we had long wanted to study: the potential for
subverting programs during privilege elevation through UAC. We created
proof of concept malware that attacks Windows Explorer, which we dubbed
ShameOnUAC.


ShameOnUAC injects itself into the unprivileged Explorer process,
where it hooks SHELL32!AicLaunchAdminProcess and waits for the user to
ask to run a program as administrator. It then then tampers with the
elevation requests before they're sent to the AppInfo service. (This is a
downside of having an unprivileged process submit elevation requests
for you.)
